They came to Ethicol to help them imagine and design a new Model of Care, one built specifically for the people the existing system too often leaves behind.
The work was genuinely collaborative from the start. Member organisations of the Coalition came together through a structured series of workshops, bringing their frontline knowledge into the design process.
Ethicol worked alongside the Coalition to translate that collective thinking into something operational. Service components, client pathways, workforce considerations, governance structures, funding options, sustainability strategies, and risk planning were all worked through in detail, grounded in both the evidence and the lived reality of the communities being served.
Ethicol developed a comprehensive business case, articulating the rationale for the new model, quantifying the potential impact, and setting out the resources needed to bring it to life.
The final outputs, a cohesive evidence-informed Model of Care alongside a business case and policy advocacy document, gave the Health Equity Coalition the tools to seek funding, make the case for system reform, and move toward a model of primary health care that actually reaches the people who need it most.
