Bloomhill is a leading integrative cancer care centre, one that has built its reputation on holistic, person-centred care for people living with cancer. When the pressures of evolving healthcare demands and funding challenges began to bear down, they asked Ethicol to help refresh their Model of Care, finding a way to protect what made it work while making sure it could last.
Ethicol worked alongside the Bloomhill team to understand the organisation from the inside out. We examined how services were being used, what was working for clients, how staffing models were holding up, where resources were stretched, what was driving costs, and what the data was telling us about long-term viability.
From that analysis, a clear picture emerged of where Bloomhill could strengthen its model, reduce inefficiencies, and unlock opportunities that had gone unnoticed, all without compromising the holistic, person-centred care that makes Bloomhill what it is.
The refreshed Model of Care is financially sustainable, evidence-grounded, and still deeply human at its core.
